No no. Two of those books are for Derek’s class, one he lent to me, and another he mentioned as I worked on a project. ha. I liked Metaphors We Live By; I’ve never really thought of metaphor outside of a literary sense, so this exploration of how integrated it is in our society/conceptual system was a new sort of mental flexion for me. I particularly liked the extension of metaphor or creation of new metaphor as what they called “imaginative rationality”.
I like your pile! I enjoy your assorted writings and highlights because they are a journey into things I’m not exploring myself. There’s room for all of our piles.
